My story
We’d like to introduce you to a boy we’ve named Sammy
This big handsome guy is a 2 year old orange tabby
For the last year or so he was living outside
In a colony of cats Sammy used as his guide
His rescuers watched him unsure he belonged
Worried waiting too long could be fatally wrong
They finally decided the time was just right
To bring Sammy inside before it got too cold at night
Struggling for food Sammy got into some fights
Which led to a virus caused by a deep bite
The virus is common, it’s called FIV
It does’t keep Sammy from being happy
This big fluffy boy has whiskers for days
And his itty bitty meow sets all hearts ablaze
Sammy loves to be brushed and pays with a purr
And pounces on toys with a mew and a chirr
He will cuddle at night, keeping you safe as you sleep
He’ll listen to your troubles and your secrets he’ll keep
Sammy’s manners haven’t suffered in his time as a stray
Show him the litter and he’ll remember the way
Dogs kind of scare him and cats are just fine
Just give him a window and a beam of sunshine
He’s enjoying the life that he’s living indoors
Could his new home be possibly yours
Sammy has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped and is ready to pack up his toys and move on to his furrever family.
