My story
Hi! I’m Purla and I am so lucky. I was lost outside and looking for help and help found me! A really nice lady from the neighborhood I was wandering around happened to be a helper of cats like me. She scooped me up and brought me to her nice warm home. The other cats and dogs whispered how kind and caring she was and not to worry. That made me feel a whole lot better.
She scanned by whole body with a funny little machine looking to see if I had been “chipped”. I thought that was pretty weird, but they didn’t find one. She tried to find my family by hanging signs up and sharing my pretty pictures on social media. I was no help, I couldn’t remember if I had a family! When nobody claimed me she promised to take care of me until I found my furrever home. I had a few scratches and stuff from my time as a stray. I was even pregnant for a little while, but I was too young and malnourished and lost my litter. She took me to the special cat doctor and got me all ready for a lucky family to find me and adopt me.
Foster mom says she named me Purla because I had such a loud and strong purr right from the start. I wanted to show her my gratitude for saving my life. She says that I am a very sweet young girl who loves to play. I’m still kind of young and have some of the kitten energy in me. I haven’t settled into my cuddling phase yet. But I love belly and back scratches. And toys! She showed me all these amazing toys like jingle balls, tunnels, and wands with ribbons to chase. It’s the best.
I’m about a year old, spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. So if I get lost again, they can scan me and find my owner. Not that I’m rushing out of any doors or windows!
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Purla, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
